Tom Walker wins Music Week Sync Award & ASCAP Vanguard Award /October 24, 2018 by Simon King

Tom won the ‘Sync Artist Of The Year’ at this years Music Week Sync Awards 2018 and a few days later he was awarded the ‘Vanguard Award’ at this years ASCAP Awards in London. Previous winners of the ‘Vanguard Award’ include Dua Lipa, Jess Glynn, Kendrick Lamar, Calvin Harris.

So sometimes it’s a marathon not a sprint! Taking the longer road might be harder but in that time we learn, adapt and figure out who we are. This has been the journey for @iamtomwalker on his 2nd album. ‘I AM’ has taken 5 years of twists and turns, low points and high moments, creative breakthroughs and emotional breakdowns but we made it! I couldn’t be prouder of Tom, the incredibly personal album he has created and the resilience and determination he and the entire team has shown getting here. We have all grown on this journey and I’m excited to see what’s round the corner but for now we just all need to appreciate being here.
