Rupert Christie has produced and mixed the forthcoming album 'Revival' by Bellowhead.

Dubbed ‘Britain’s most successful traditional folk act’, Bellowhead have signed to Island Records as they celebrate a decade together.

The 11-piece act recently played two of their biggest sold out shows to date - in Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall on 19th April and London’s Royal Albert Hall on 20th April.

Their new Island-issued album, Revival, is slated for release on June 23. The album will be released on Island’s Pink label, renowned in the 1970’s for acts such as Fairport Convention, John Martyn and Nick Drake.

Bellowhead have won the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards Best Live Act gong five times, as well as Best Group twice.
